Nutravail’s predecessor, Fuisz Technologies was acquired by the publicly-traded, pharmaceutical company, Biovail Corporation on July 26, 1999. Biovail then changed the name to Nutravail Technologies Inc. and ran it as its consumer products division until April 30, 2006 when Nutravail was sold to NTI Holdings Corp.
Current ownership has been in place since May 1, 2006, and is committed to continuing Nutravail’s development of innovative delivery systems for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products, while substantially increasing its in-house manufacturing capacity. Additionally, Nutravail will benefit greatly from its affiliation with another Leitendorfa-Lines controlled Company, Quercegen Pharma, a world leader in flavonoid research. Nutravail is well positioned to commercialize certain food and nutraceutical products that are derived from Quercegen Pharma’s research efforts. |
